Brandy

I started with just the picture of Brandy. I used a photo of some black brocade, that was for sale on eBay, as a background and colorized it to a deep purple (a goth standard. of course!). I comped in the rose and did the same, but to a green hue (the unsung hero of cliché goth colors). The red frame not only echoes her hair and dress color, it adds yet the fourth standard goth color to the mix.

So what have we learned here today? (A) Standard obvious goth colors are: Black, Red, Purple, and I believe, Green. (B) It's okay to use all of them in the same picture if you're careful. And (C) A pretty set of eyes can turn you to mush in a heartbeat.
